Atlantic Yacht Rigging was started by Mike Floyd in Norwalk, CT almost twelve years ago. The bulk of the business was as a retail store and service center working with racing and cruising sailboats in the Long Island Sound area.

The company moved to Rhode Island in 2006 and was better able to incorporate a growing boat repair and regatta services division.

With the move and broadening projects Michelle Savage joined the team and has created lasting relationships with clients with custom rigging, one design services, and project management.

Change is in the air…

Almost unpacked and setup the way that we envisioned. Rigging shop built with plenty of space for splicing and production, woodshop and boat repair section with clean boat storage as well.
